Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ launched: Key specs, features, India price and everything else

On Sunday, Samsung announced its Galaxy S9 flagship smartphone at its Unpacked 2018 event ahead of MWC 2018. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are successors to last year's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ and come with incremental updates to their design language. The new flagships come with top-of-the-line hardware specs that include the latest Exynos and Snapdragon processors and improvements to the cameras among other things.
The Galaxy S9 comes with a design language similar to its predecessor that includes a bezel-less front with an Infinity display and tall 18.5:9 aspect ratio. And yes, Samsung has retained the headphone jack as well. The biggest visual difference you'll notice is the placement of the rear fingerprint sensor which has now moved right below the camera setup. Most of the upgrades are under-the-hood so here's a quick look at what you get with the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ specifications:
Display: The Galaxy S9 sports a 5.8-inch WQHD+ (1440x2960) Super AMOLED display while the larger Galaxy S9+ sports a 6.1-inch display with similar resolution. Both the phones come with 18.5:9 aspect ratios.
Processor: The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are powered by the company's latest octa-core Exynos 9810 chips. The US market will receive the flagships with Snapdragon 845 chips inside.
RAM: The Galaxy S9 will be offered with 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy S9+ will come with 6GB of RAM.
Internal storage: Both the phones will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage configurations with support for expandable storage of up to 400GB via a microSD card slot.
Rear camera: The Galaxy S9 bears a single 12-megapixel dual-pixel sensor with adjustable aperture (f1.5/f.2.4) and OIS. The Galaxy S9+ gets a 12-megapixel dual rear camera setup with a similar primary lens as the Galaxy S9 and a secondary camera being a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera also gets the ability to shoot slo-mo videos at up to 960 frames per second.
