Naked bodies of Ghaziabad couple found in their bathroom, cops probe suspicious deaths

On Friday, a married couple, resident of Gyan Khand, Ghaziabad, was found dead in a mysterious circumstances inside the bathroom of their bedroom which was locked from inside.
Niraj Singhania, 38, who was a deputy general manager at Matrix Cellular (International) services limited and his wife Ruchi Singhania, 35, returned home with the rest of the family members around 5:30 in the evening after celebrating holi on Friday.
The two went to their bedroom to get ready for a family dinner outing to celebrate Niraj's father's birthday while their 4-year-old daughter stayed back with the family.
Around 7:30 pm, Niraj's father, Prem Prakash Singhania knocked on their bedroom door and called out their names. However, there was no response.
Around 9:30 pm, he knocked on the door again but there was again no response. Worried, he then informed Niraj's younger brother Varun.
Varun tried to peek through the bedroom window by standing on a stool. He managed to catch a glimpse of his sister-in-law's feet poking through the bathroom floor.
The family then broke down the bedroom door and found Niraj and Ruchi's lying unconscious, naked, inside the bathroom. The two were then rushed to the nearest hospital where they were declared brought dead.
A case has been filed and the police is investigating the matter. As of now, the police is not certain whether it's a matter of suicide or murder as no circumstantial evidence supporting any of the cause was found on scene.
When questioned if the two died due to suffocation, Niraj's father informed that the gas geyser which is installed inside the bathroom was turned off and the buckets were also empty.
There were also no injury or struggle marks on Niraj and Ruchi's bodies.
The dead bodies of the married couple has been sent for postmortem and the police is now waiting for the report with hopes that it will help them find a solid lead in this mysterious murder case.
