Beware of the fake Jio Coin apps! There are at least 22 fake Jio Coin apps on Play Store

sometime ago, the report was revealed that Jio is preparing to bring its own Cryptocurrency by the name 'Jio Coin'. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that some of fake websites have now been made available to provide this currency. After all, many apps related to Jio Coin have been seen on Google's Play Store.

The total number of these apps is about 22. Their name is Jio Coin and they are available for download at the Play Store. The names of these apps are as follows - Jio Coin, Jio Coin Buy, Jio Coin Crypto Currency etc. However, all these apps have about 1,000 downloads. There are three such apps which have been downloaded 1,000 and 5,000 times and two have been downloaded 10,000 and 50,000 times.

The information which is given in these Fake App pages claims to give Jio Coin instead of doing some 'task'. However, according to media reports in January, it is being convinced that Jio is preparing to bring its crypto into 2018. However, no official statement has been issued regarding this from the company.

In this context, security experts say that people should avoid downloading these such applications. Earlier such apps used to steal people's personal information, but now threats can occur in different ways. According to cyber security experts, a new kind of malware may be hidden in some of these applications which can slow down processing power of your phone to mine crypto currency in the background. So stay away from downloading these kind of apps for making money.
